Hello! It’s me, Dom :D My first devlog wow :O

First things first! Below, you’ll find a list of things I changed in this update. I polished it a bit, so it looks nicer than the initial build I did for the jam. After that list will be a brief thought from me on making this game. Then, final thoughts!

Changes:

• Added more words :D
  • You get to have another moment with Hui :)
• Changed the backgrounds to one background
• Revamped the Preferences screen
• Added Studio screen
• Added Warning screen
• Added Credits screens
• Added Thank You screen
• Fixed some appearance of Hui’s emotions
• Fixed the words appearing outside of the textbox
• Fixed the positions of confirmation texts
• Edited the script
• Added darker background for flashbacks
• Added main socials onto title page
• Added miscellaneous changes/fixes

Anyways! Thoughts!

I joined the Amare Jam for 2022 when there was only about a little over a week left. It was stressful, but I think I did pretty good for my first game!!! :D

This experience was definitely needed for me, and I am happy to have done this. I feel a lot more prepared and have a clearer understanding for my future projects.

Anyone that wants to try should definitely go for it, especially if you’re the type of person who needs to do it yourself in order to understand something (hence, me doing this).

Shout-out to PDRRook for helping me through the week with her knowledge and expertise! Also, she helped beta-test for me and made Hui into such a cute RO!!! :D
